As a successful pilot program of the PROvalue infrastructure, the PROvalue Endo quality contract will enable health insurers and service providers to provide patients with endoprosthetic joint care that goes beyond the standard care since 2022.

To this end, the current outcome level of the service provider is first recorded in a zero-value measurement before the intervention phase begins with close-meshed PROM monitoring and threshold-based decision support for clinical staff.

More than 25 health insurers support PROvalue Endo.

PROvalue quality contracts focus on health-related quality of life. Via a seamless digital infrastructure, PROvalue accompanies patients with the help of digital surveys and enables outcome-based care and remuneration.

Improving health-related quality of life is the most important outcome of any treatment for patients. Continuous monitoring and intelligent thresholds can improve treatment pathways, reduce complication rates, and enable quality-centered reimbursement models.

Quality contracts pursuant to §110a SGB V are contracts between health insurance funds and healthcare providers aimed at improving the quality of care. A quality contract defines specific quality targets to be achieved by the service providers (e.g. hospitals, physicians, nursing facilities). Under the contract, the service providers undertake to achieve the agreed quality targets and to report regularly on their results. In return, they receive additional payment for their services if they meet the agreed quality targets. One example from the list of the Federal Joint Committee for a quality contract according to §110a SGB V is the PROvalue Endo contract in the field of endoprosthetics.
